In short: you can use our free color tools for personal and business projects. Our results are approximate, so check important colors before you print. Please don’t misuse or overload the website, and remember that we are an independent site, not affiliated with Pantone LLC.
1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to your use of cmyk2pantone.com (the “website”), including our color converters, charts, guides and other content. By using the website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
If you use the website for a company or another person, you confirm that you are allowed to accept these Terms for them.
2. About the website
CMYK2Pantone (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides free online color conversion tools and color reference resources for designers, printers, marketers and anyone who works with digital or print colors. We are an independent website and are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Pantone LLC. Please also read our Disclaimer, which forms part of these Terms.
3. Using our tools
Our tools give approximate results. They are meant as a fast starting point. You are responsible for checking that a color is right for your project before you use or print it.
You may use our converters, charts and guides for personal, educational and business purposes. You do not need an account. The tools run in your browser, and we may add, change or remove tools at any time.
4. Acceptable use
When you use the website, you agree not to:
- break any law or the rights of others,
- try to hack, damage, overload or disrupt the website or its servers,
- use bots, scrapers or automated tools to copy large parts of the website or to send many requests, unless we have given you written permission,
- copy, resell or republish our content, tool code or color lists as your own product or dataset,
- try to get around security features, or reverse engineer parts of the website, except where the law allows it,
- send us harmful code, spam or false information, or
- suggest that we endorse you, or that we are connected with Pantone LLC.
You may use a single conversion result in your own work, for example by copying a color value into your design file. Linking to our pages is welcome.
5. Intellectual property
The website’s design, text, tool code, layout, logo and other original material belong to CMYK2Pantone or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. These Terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable right to use the website for its intended purpose. They do not transfer any ownership to you.
You may quote short parts of our content with a clear link back to the source. For any other use, please ask us first. Color values are numbers and codes. Using a result in your own design does not require our permission.
6. Trademarks and third-party names
Pantone® and related Pantone names and marks are registered trademarks of Pantone LLC. All other trademarks, product names and company names mentioned on the website belong to their owners. We use them only to describe the colors and systems our tools work with. Nothing on the website gives you any right to use these trademarks. If you are a rights holder and have a concern, please contact us and we will look into it promptly.
7. Your messages and feedback
If you send us a message, a suggestion or a correction, you confirm that you have the right to send it. You allow us to use your feedback to improve the website, without owing you payment or credit. We will handle personal information in line with our Privacy Policy. Please do not send us confidential or sensitive information.
8. No warranty
The website, tools and content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. This includes any promise that results are accurate, complete, up to date, suitable for a particular purpose, or free from errors, and any promise that the website will always be available or work without interruption.
Color depends on screens, profiles, paper, inks and presses, so a result you see here may look different in print. Always check important colors against a physical reference and a printed proof.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, CMYK2Pantone and the people behind it are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss or damage, or for lost profits, lost data, wasted print runs, reprints or business interruption, that arises from your use of, or inability to use, the website or from relying on its results.
If we are found to be liable to you despite these Terms, our total liability will be limited to the greatest amount you paid us to use the website in the last 12 months, which for a free website is zero, or the minimum amount the law requires. Nothing in these Terms limits any right or liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Indemnity
You agree to protect us from claims, losses and costs, including reasonable legal fees, that come from your misuse of the website, your breach of these Terms, or your breach of someone else’s rights, to the extent the law allows.
11. Third-party links and advertising
The website may link to other websites and may show advertising, including ads served by third parties such as Google. We do not control those sites or ads and are not responsible for their content, products, services or privacy practices. Dealing with an advertiser or a linked site is between you and them. 12. Privacy

13. Changes, availability and termination
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If you keep using the website after a change, you accept the updated Terms.
We may change, suspend or stop any part of the website at any time, and we may block access for anyone who breaks these Terms. You can stop using the website at any time. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as intellectual property, no warranty, limitation of liability and indemnity, continue after you stop.
If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If we do not enforce a part of these Terms straight away, it does not mean we give up that right.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, Delhi, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that cannot be settled informally will be handled by the courts of New Delhi, India, unless the law in your place of residence gives you the right to bring a claim somewhere else. Before starting a formal claim, please contact us so we can try to solve the problem.
